Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) is a chiropractic technique that uses measurements of your posture and spine, often from X-rays, to plan care. Rather than treating only where it hurts, CBP practitioners look at how the spine is aligned and how you hold yourself.
Care can include chiropractic adjustments, specific corrective exercises and spinal traction, and progress is checked with re-measurement. CBP is one of several chiropractic techniques. Research into its outcomes is ongoing, and results vary from person to person.
Robina Chiropractic Wellness Centre is the largest CBP practice on the Gold Coast. Dr Andrew Kaltenbach has postgraduate training in CBP, and our clinic offers CBP-based spinal traction and rehabilitation.
People often come to us with back or neck pain, posture concerns, scoliosis or a desk-based job that leaves them stiff. If CBP is not right for you, we will tell you and refer you to the right health professional.
Not always. We only refer for X-rays when they are clinically indicated, and we explain why before you decide.
It depends on your assessment. We explain the recommended plan and the cost before any care begins.
Yes. The new patient assessment covers your initial consultation and report of findings only. Any treatment, X-rays or further care are charged separately at our standard fees.

Chiropractic care is not suitable for everyone, and results vary from person to person. All health care carries some risk, so ask us about the benefits and risks for your situation. If you have sudden or severe symptoms, such as loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness around the groin, a sudden severe headache, chest pain or new weakness, seek urgent medical care.
